Graf Named TXDOT Brownwood District Director of Construction

BROWNWOOD – The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is pleased to announce the selection of Chris Graf, P.E., as the Brownwood District Director of Construction.

Graf began his career at TxDOT in 2001 as a summer employee at the Brownwood Area Office. After receiving his degree in mechanical engineering in 2006 from Texas A&M University, Graf began working full time as an engineering assistant at the Brownwood Area Office. In May of 2013, he accepted the position of Brownwood District Design Engineer. While serving as the district design engineer, he also served as the district pavement engineer. In September 2017, Graf also began serving as the Interim Eastland Area Engineer.

Graf and his wife Toni have three girls: Kaci, Erin, and Jaden. In his free time, Graf enjoys hunting and fishing with his family and friends.

Graf began his new duties on Monday, Jan. 14, 2019. 

TxDOT’s Brownwood District includes Brown, Coleman, Comanche, Eastland, Lampasas, McCulloch, Mills, San Saba and Stephens counties.
