TxDOT Seeks Input on SH 71 at McAllister Road Intersection Study in Bastrop

BASTROP — TxDOT is hosting a virtual public meeting to gather input on the SH 71 at McAllister Road Intersection Study with the objective of improving safety and mobility in the area.   

Proposed improvements include:

  • Enhanced signage
  • Enhanced pavement markings
  • A restricted-crossing U-turn intersection

The public may visit the virtual public hearing on through Friday, Nov. 13, 2020. The virtual public meeting includes a pre-recorded video presentation explaining the study and the proposed improvements. Additional study-related materials are also available.

Members of the public may also call (512) 308-4468 during regular office hours or email to ask questions about the study or access study materials.
