Purpose:
TxDOT will host an Open House to present the proposed roadway improvements for Navarro Street (BU 77) from Loop 463 to Airline Road in Victoria County, Texas. The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input on the proposed improvements. The public is invited to view project maps, visit with team members, ask questions, and share comments on the proposed project. No formal presentation will be made.
Description:
The proposed improvements include constructing approximately 14,000 feet of raised median along Navarro Street, and left-turn lanes would be constructed in the median at various locations to allow turning movements. The proposed project would improve safety, mobility, and reduce crashes along this section of roadway.
All interested citizens are invited to attend this Open House. Written comments may be submitted in person at the Open House or by:

All comments must be submitted or postmarked by Sept. 6, 2017, for inclusion in the Public Meeting Record.
The meeting will be conducted in English. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and TxDOT.
