Notice Affording Opportunity for Public Hearing - Proposed Improvements for LP 463 from Mockingbird Lane to BU 59T

Purpose:

TxDOT is the lead agency proposing to add east bound frontage roads along the south side of Loop (LP) 463 from Mockingbird Lane to Business (BU) 59T on the east side of the City of Victoria, Victoria County, Texas.  The total distance of the proposed project is approximately 2.55 miles. 

Description:

• Construction of east bound frontage roads along LP 463 from Mockingbird Lane to BU 59T consisting of two 12-foot travel lanes with 10-foot outside shoulders and 4-foot inside shoulders
• Reconfiguration of entrance/exit ramps at the BU 59T intersection
• Construction of new bridge culvert and one small culvert

The purpose of the proposed project is to extend the existing east bound frontage roads on LP 463 and modify the existing ramps at BU 59T to meet current design standards.

The existing right-of-way (ROW) width varies from approximately 335-feet to 1,000-feet.  The proposed project would not require additional ROW.  The proposed project would not require any residential or non-residential displacements.

Any environmental documentation or studies, maps showing the project location and design, tentative construction schedules and other information regarding the project are on file and available for inspection Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at:

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
