The existing intersection is signalized and includes right turn lanes, and the existing right-of-way (ROW) width is approximately 120 feet. The proposed overpass is a 4-lane highway with 12-foot lanes. SH 137 will have one through-lane 12 feet in width and turning lanes 12 feet in width. The proposed ROW width is 300 feet at its widest, and approximately 15 acres of new ROW will be required to complete the project. Although additional ROW is required, no residential or nonresidential structures would be displaced.
