Purpose:

The purpose of the virtual public meeting is to update the public and stakeholders on progress made on the PEL since the first round of public meetings held in February 2018 receive feedback. The study encompasses I-10 East from I-69 in Harris County to SH 99 (Grand Parkway) in Chambers County. The virtual meeting will consist of a narrated presentation by the project team, project exhibits and other information, and an opportunity to comment. Comments must be received on or before Monday, July 12, 2021, to be a part of the official meeting record.

Description:

The I-10 East Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) Study is a high-level, early-planning process.  Through public and stakeholder engagement, the PEL Study will focus on identifying existing and future transportation issues within the corridor and will propose viable solutions.

Please be aware that advance notice is requested as some accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.

Memorandum of Understanding:

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 9, 2019, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
