The virtual public meeting will be posted on Thursday, July 16, 2020, at 6 p.m. and will be available through Friday, July 31, 2020. All comments must be received on or before Friday, July 31, 2020.

Purpose:

The purpose of the virtual public meeting is to present proposed improvements to FM 4/ FM 916 (East Criner Street) from South First Street to North Fourth Street in Johnson County, Texas. Materials will consist of a video presentation explaining the proposed project, which includes both audio and video components, along with other exhibits and materials for review. Formal comments may be provided by mail, email or voicemail as described in the notice.

Description:

The proposed project would improve mobility as well as enhance access and safety. The proposed improvements would include removing the existing brick to repair the base and subbase of the road. Original bricks would be reused to repave the roadway, and the sidewalks would be widened. The proposed improvements would also include installing or replacing ADA-compliant curb ramps. The existing utilities that are in conflict would be relocated. The project is approximately 0.16 miles.

Memorandum of Understanding:

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 9, 2019, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and TxDOT.
