Purpose:

The City of Arlington, in partnership with TxDOT, will hold a public meeting to discuss the proposed pedestrian enhancements along State Highway (SH) 180 (Division Street) in Arlington, Texas. The purpose of the meeting is to offer an opportunity to discuss and make comments on the proposed improvements. 

Description:

The proposed project will add sidewalks, replace damaged and non-compliant sidewalks and upgrade streetlights to be in compliance with the current Americans with Disability Act standards along SH 180 (Division Street) from Collins Street to Cooper Street. Approximately 1.4 total acres of right of way from 57 properties are proposed for this project.

If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can also be made to accommodate most needs. Please call (817) 459-6152 at least five working days prior to the meeting. Please be aware that advance notice is requested as some accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.

Comments must be received on or before June 11, 2018, to be a part of the official record.
