Public Hearing - US 80 Improvements

 		 When: Thursday, April 7, 2011
Open House - 6 p.m.
Hearing - 7 p.m.
Purpose: An open house and public hearing for the proposed construction of an interchange and associated U.S. 80 access ramps at the future location of Forney Parkway (a separate City of Forney project).
 
Description: Proposed improvements include the following:
  • Construction of a deceleration lane on the northwest side of the interchange
  • Expansion of U.S. 80 right-of-way to 315 feet in width, requiring approximately 4.24 acres of additional right-of-way from two landowners
  • No business or residential properties would be displaced
