Public Meeting - Bryan District Rural Transportation Improvement Program

Purpose:

The purpose of the public meeting is to gather public input on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2019-2022 Rural Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for the ten-county Bryan District area which includes Brazos; Burleson; Freestone; Grimes; Leon; Madison; Milam; Robertson; Walker; and Washington Counties.  The meeting will be an open house format so the public may come and go at their convenience, and staff will be available to answer questions.

Description:

The TIP is a mechanism used by TxDOT and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to fund projects for the next four years and includes all federally-funded projects. This meeting offers public officials and interested persons an opportunity to comment on the RTIP, which will be incorporated into the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). All interested citizens are invited to attend these public meetings. The public meeting is being held pursuant to Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, Section 16.102, which calls for an opportunity for public comments concerning the program.
