Purpose:

The purpose of the open house is to gather public input on proposed improvements to FM 1735 from SH 49 to 2.1 miles south of SH 49 in Titus County, Texas. The meeting will be an open house format so the public may come and go at their convenience, and staff will be available to answer questions. Comments must be received on or before Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018, to be a part of the official open house record.

Description:

The proposed improvements include reconstructing FM 1735 to include two travel lanes, a center left turn lane, and two 10 foot shoulders; and upgrading the intersection at SH 49. The proposed project will improve safety and enhance mobility. Additional right of way will be required to construct this project.

Memorandum of Understanding:

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
