Purpose:

The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input on proposed improvements to US 54 through Stratford to include rehabilitating the existing pavement to concrete with sidewalks and pedestrian accommodations. The meeting will consist of a short presentation at 6:30 p.m., and then staff will be available to answer questions.

Description:

Proposed improvements include the following:

  • Rehabilitation of the existing pavement to concrete
  • Sidewalks and pedestrian accommodations from from west of Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) railroad crossing to east of FM 2677

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
