Purpose:

The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input on proposed improvements to US 60 In Hereford to include improved mobility and accessibility to motorists in the area. The meeting will consist of a short presentation at 6:30 p.m., and then staff will be available to answer questions.

Description:

Proposed improvements include the following:

  • Rehabilitation of the existing pavement to concrete
  • Sidewalks and pedestrian accommodations from Tierra Blanca Ridge to just east of Progressive Road

Please be aware that advance notice is requested as some accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.

Comments must be received on or before Tuesday, May 8, 2018 to be a part of the official meeting record.
