Special Notice to Contractors – Bid Proposal Request System (BPRS)

To streamline contractor access to bidding functions, TxDOT has integrated the Bid Proposal Request System (BPRS) into the integrated Contractor Exchange (iCX), our electronic bidding system. BPRS will continue to run concurrently with iCX.

The Bid Proposal Request System (BPRS) allows bidders to request bid proposals online.

Obtaining a User ID

Obtain a User ID by completing Bid Proposal Request System (BPRS) User Access Request Form 2553 and Security Access Form 1828b and attaching them to an email to

All BPRS accounts have a 90-day expiration date. Changing the account password at least once every 60 days is recommended, as the account expiration date is reset each time the password is changed.
