The International Aviation Art Contest is designed to motivate and encourage children to study aeronautics, engineering and science.

In the 2019 Texas contest, 10 students ages 7 to 16 were named winners. Entries were judged in three categories, according to age and for creative use of the theme in relation to the aviation world. All told, 359 students from 15 schools submitted entries in the Texas challenge of the International Aviation Art Contest.

The 2019 contest theme was “My Dream to Fly” and below are the Texas winners’ entries. 1st,  2nd and 3rd place winners will move on to the National competition.
