The International Aviation Art Contest is designed to motivate and encourage children to study aeronautics, engineering and science.

In the 2018 Texas contest, thirteen students ages 8 to 17 were named winners. Entries were judged in three categories, according to age and for creative use of the theme in relation to the aviation world. All told, 508 students from 25 schools submitted entries in the Texas challenge of the International Aviation Art Contest.

The 2018 contest theme was “Flight into the Future” and below are the Texas winners’ entries. 1st,  2nd and 3rd place winners will move on to the National competition.
