Agreement

The Project Advisor, in exchange for the opportunity to provide feedback on the Research Project described above, hereby represents, understands and agrees as follows:

1. The Project Advisor has no direct or indirect financial interest in the Research Project.

2. The Project Advisor has no family, personal, or business relationships with any University or TxDOT employees, unless indicated below:

3. The Project Advisor shall not disclose any information or documentation it receives as a result of the Project Advisor’s participation in the Research Project, including without limitation any survey data, meeting materials, emails, or conversations regarding the Research Project to any person outside of the TxDOT and University Research Project teams.

4. While the Project Advisor will be invited to provide feedback on the Research Project, the Project Advisor shall have no power to directly influence the Research Project or how results of the Research Project may be utilized.

5. Participation in the Research Project is voluntary, and the Project Advisor shall not receive any compensation or reimbursement for the Project Advisor’s participation in the Research Project. The objective of the Research Project is to determine the best solutions to problems of interest.

Confirmation

To ensure this objective is not undermined in any way, the Project Advisor shall not, in connection with the Research Project, advertise nor promote any product, any specific type of technology, nor any company that the Project Advisor owns, is employed by, or is affiliated with.
