Purpose:

The meeting provides the consultant community and the TxDOT Austin District an opportunity to share information in a collaborative manner. The format provides a safe place to discuss issues that have arisen and obtain feedback from a high level perspective. The intent is to have open dialogue with the Consultant Community to identify and discuss major issues.

  • Safety Minute
  • Introduction of Austin District Engineer, Tucker Ferguson, P.E.
  • Consultant community topics of interest received in advance of the meeting.

The success of the meeting is dependent on dialogue between TxDOT and the consultant community. Again we strongly encourage your submittal of discussion topics (be submitted along with your RSVP) to make this an informative and productive town hall gathering. Cut off for submitting the discussion topics will be Noon, Tuesday, July 9, 2019. TxDOT will take these submissions into consideration prior to finalizing the agenda. Both internal and external topics will be discussed within the one hour limit.

  • Directors of Construction, TP&D, Transportation Ops, APD, Maintenance, and Traffic
  • Area Engineers
  • District Design Engineer/Assistant
  • District Utility Engineer
  • Mobility 35 Program Manager
  • Central Design Team Leaders
  • PEPS Service Center Manager & District PEPS Liaison
  • Up to 100 attendees (one representative per firm)
