Notice to TxDOT employees: 

These templates are located under the "DES" tab in Word.

For all others, please use these instructions:

Click on the FTP icon containing the templates.  Double click on the 
saved self extracting file and it will extract the Templates you 
downloaded.  Using Windows Explorer, save the Templates in the 
Template folder under the word editing program you are using. 
(Ex: If you are using Microsoft Word you would save it under 
Program Files, Microsoft Office, Templates.) Open the word editing 
program you are using and click on file, then new and choose one 
of the templates you saved.
