Salaries and Fringe Benefits (100 &200)

Enter the names of project's personnel who will be working on the grant. Populate required fields identified with an asterisk "*".

A subgrantee proposal includes three employees who will work the grant: a Project Director (100% of total salary), Financial Director (50% of total salary), and Administrative Assistant.
As there are three individuals, three (3) pages will have to be created/saved under Salaries and Fringe Benefits (100 & 200).
Here's the first one-

Example :

  • Position/Title : Project Director
  • Position Description: list Tasks/responsibilities
  • Salary type: Yearly (Use drop-down field)
  • Unit price: $45,000 is 100% of the individual's Total Salary
  • Quantity : 1 (one year)
  • Total: $45,000.00
  • Fringe Rate: 18%
  • Fringe Total: $8,100
  • Breakdown of Fringe Percentage: When fringe benefits are included, you must provide a breakdown of the fringe benefit rate.
  • Select Save button to calculate the total salary cost.
  • Allocate salary total by placing the amount in the TxDOT or Match fields under (100) Salary Amount column.
  • Allocate fringe total by placing amount in the TxDOT or Match field under (200) Fringe Benefits Amount. The allocated amounts must equal the calculated total amount, or you will receive an error message.

    Remember to Save your work - Every 15 minutes eGrants times out, whether you're typing or not.

    If you have another project employee to add, select the Add button to create another Salary and Fringe Benefits (100 & 200) page. Repeat steps above.

    After creating & saving multiple pages, a drop-down field appears in the upper right area of your screen. It lists your pages saved. Click on any item on the drop-down list to go to that particular page.
