Portion of Panola County highway to be resurfaced
Project on SH 315 expected to take 13 months to complete
ATLANTA – A portion of SH 315 in Panola County is scheduled to be resurfaced soon, according to plans awarded in August by the Texas Department of Transportation.
“The project will extend from FM 1970 to the Rusk County line, which is an area covering over 8.5 miles,” said Marshall Area Engineer Jacob Vise.
Madden Contracting Company, LLC of Minden, Louisiana was awarded the contract with a bid of $5,970,136.
Work is expected to begin in November 2023. Once underway, the project is expected to take about 13 months to complete, weather permitting.
