Draft Texas Transportation Needs Study

On December 21, 2007, Sen. Eliot Shapleigh asked TxDOT to perform a study that looks at the state's transportation needs across modes and at the different options to pay for them.

The drafts of the two-part study are available for review in the table below.

This draft needs report is considered an interim step in viewing the state's broader transportation needs while the 2030 Committee works on a more thorough assessment due by the end of 2008.
