December Events
December’s events include San Elizario’s ChristKindle Market featuring local artists and vendors; Fredericksburg celebrates Weihnachten with numerous events throughout the month including a 26-foot-tall spinning German pyramid and ice-skating rink at Marktplatz; the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and the Amon Carter Museum of American Art in Fort Worth commemorate the 100th anniversary of artist José Guadalupe Posada's death with exhibitions of his work and influence; and the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas hosts the Animal Inside Out exhibit featuring “plastinated” animal bodies, prepared by the producers of the popular Body Worlds exhibits.
