These documents contain text of correspondence sent by
TxDOT to the county tax assessor-collectors, statutory agents who provide
vehicle registration and titling services for citizens in Texas. This
information is provided to apprise the general public of issues affecting the
state’s vehicle titling and registration process.
PURPOSE
To notify you of the closing of the San Angelo Regional Office and the
realignment of counties for Vehicle Titles and Registration Division (VTR)
support. DETAILS
Effective June 1, 2006, the San Angelo Regional Office will close. In
order to provide optimal support, this closing will necessitate a realignment of
counties in the Abilene, Midland-Odessa, Lubbock, and Wichita Falls Regional
Offices. The changes are as follows:

COUNTY ACTION
The Registration and Titling System will be programmed to accommodate these
changes as soon as possible. The copies of the revised VTR Regional Map,
VTR-601, and the revised VTR Regional Office List by County Location,
VTR-107, are enclosed for your convenience. If you need additional copies,
please request them through your Regional Offices.

In some cases the
Registration and Title Bulletins (RTB) contain attachments. If you

Repeat requests are subject to charges in accordance with Open Record
policies. A subscription service is also available for an annual fee of
$250. Subscribers will automatically receive all RTB mailings as they
are issued. |
