vehicle registration and titling services for citizens in Texas. This
information is provided to apprise the general public of issues affecting the
state’s vehicle titling and registration process.
PURPOSE
To announce the merger of DaimlerChrysler
Services North America LLC into DaimlerChrysler
Financial Services Americas LLC. This
Registration and Title Bulletin (RTB) rescinds
RTB # 058-03.DETAILS
The Trustee of the DCFS Trust, the Bank of New York (Delaware),
has
executed a power of attorney (POA), dated December 13, 2005, to
allow DaimlerChrysler Financial Services Americas LLC to
transfer titles as an agent of the trust.
A copy of the attached Affidavit of Trust and POA is
acceptable to support title transactions indicating the trust as
the purchaser or seller. The spaces for the seller’s or
purchaser’s signature on the assignment of title and Form 130-U,
when applicable, should be completed as follows:

Regional Offices shall accept copies of the
attachments for issuance of certified copies of
titles indicating DCFS Trust as recorded owner
provided proper verified proof and the
appropriate fee accompany the request.
