These documents contain text of correspondence sent by
TxDOT to the county tax assessor-collectors, statutory agents who provide
vehicle registration and titling services for citizens in Texas. This
information is provided to apprise the general public of issues affecting the
state’s vehicle titling and registration process.
PURPOSE
To provide information on the new United States Military Academy
at West Point specialty license plate.
DETAILS
- A new digital specialty license plate, United States Military Academy at
West Point, is available for display on passenger vehicles and light trucks
for qualifying applicants at no annual fee.
- Qualification for this specialty license plate requires the applicant to
be a graduate of the United States Military Academy, and a current or former
commissioned officer of the United States armed forces.
- West Point graduates may use Form VTR-226 when applying for this
specialty plate.
- Attached is a photocopy of the new United States Military Academy at
West Point specialty license plate. It may be viewed, and applications
downloaded, by going to the Texas Department of Transportation’s Internet
site at www.txdot.gov.
