TxDOT collects about 82,000 traffic counts each year
to support state, regional and local transportation planners. Our traffic counts
are also available to the private sector.
Annual District Traffic Maps
These maps show annual average daily traffic counts on TxDOT-maintained roads,
with 24-hour counts for truck and seasonal factors applied.
Urban Saturation Maps
These maps show annual daily traffic counts on TxDOT-maintained roads, county roads and city streets
on a five-year cycle. Traffic volumes are not adjusted for truck or seasonal variations.
