Description
This two-lane bridge is 791 feet long. It was constructed in 1985 to replace a privately owned, antiquated wooden
bridge located about 500 yards away. The border station (USBS Presidio) was completed in
1987.
The crossing is also known locally as
Presidio-Ojinaga Bridge and Puente Ojinaga.
Identified Needs The bridge handles both passenger and commercial
vehicles. Identified needs include improved signage and reevaluation of the
roadway configuration.Recommendations At the end of the study, improvements will be recommended based upon identified needs of the border crossings.
