Description

This two-lane bridge is 791 feet long. It was constructed in 1985 to replace a privately owned, antiquated wooden bridge located about 500 yards away. The border station (USBS Presidio) was completed in 1987.

The crossing is also known locally as Presidio-Ojinaga Bridge and Puente Ojinaga.

Identified Needs

The bridge handles both passenger and commercial vehicles. Identified needs include improved signage and reevaluation of the roadway configuration.
