Description

The crossing is a two-lane road that runs above the Lake Falcon Dam. In 1960, the U.S. border station was constructed by the International Boundary and Water Commission (IBWC).

The crossing is also known locally as Falcon Dam, Puente San Juan, Presa Falcón and Puente Internacional de la Presa.

Identified Needs

This crossing does not receive high traffic volumes, as it is located in a rural area. Identified needs include flashing beacons and improved lighting.
