Toll Road Billing Questions

New toll roads are opening in Texas metropolitan areas. With an innovative and convenient payment option, motorists can drive these roads even if they don't have a toll tag or cash. Instead, motorists can pay their toll charges by mail.

For this option, customers will receive an invoice in the mail listing their toll charges. The toll rate for this payment option is approximately 30 percent higher than the rate for toll tag customers, which covers additional processing costs. This payment option is available on the following toll roads.

  • Austin (Loop 1, SH 45 and SH 130)
  • Tyler (Loop 49)
  • Dallas (SH 121)

If you received an invoice and have questions, please contact our TxTag customer service center. Learn more about toll rates and TxDOT's electronic toll tags, called TxTag, by visiting our TxTag Web site.
