Complaints from Consumers

If you are a consumer with a complaint about a dealer’s sales practices, we can help you resolve your issue. Just follow the steps below.

  1. Download and print a consumer complaint form [pdf, 2 pages, 172kb].
  2. Read the form completely and answer all questions.
  3. Attach a copy of the sales contract and other documents you may have received from the dealer.
  4. Sign and date the form, and mail it to the address on the form.
  5. Allow three to five weeks for processing.

If your complaint is about a defective vehicle, you may be able to receive assistance through the Texas Lemon Law.
