TxDOT provides searchable databases for use by businesses and the public to
obtain information about motor carriers that we have registered or for whom we
have issued permits. This includes information such as, company or owner’s name,
addresses, insurance records, recent activities and vehicle data. Additionally, users may obtain information about
vehicle storage facility operators licensed through TxDOT. Please note, it takes us about
seven working days to post new information to the
database once we receive it.
Interstate motor carriers are not included in our
databases. For information on interstate carriers, visit the
Federal Motor Carrier Safety
Administration. We hope you are able to find the information you need from the above
databases, however if you want to make a request for more specific data or wish
to purchase an entire database on CD-ROM, you need to make a
Public Information (Open Records)
