On December 21, 2007, Sen. Eliot
Shapleigh asked the Texas Department of Transportation to
perform a study
that
looks at the state’s transportation needs across modes and at the different options to
pay for them. Study Drafts The drafts of the two-part study are
available for review:
This draft needs report is considered an interim step in viewing the state's
broader transportation needs while the
2030 Committee works on a more
thorough assessment due by the end of 2008.
