DRAFT Texas Transportation Needs Study

On December 21, 2007, Sen. Eliot Shapleigh asked the Texas Department of Transportation to perform a study that looks at the state’s transportation needs across modes and at the different options to pay for them.

Study Drafts

The drafts of the two-part study are available for review:

This draft needs report is considered an interim step in viewing the state's broader transportation needs while the 2030 Committee works on a more thorough assessment due by the end of 2008.

Note: At this stage, these reports are drafts pending final acceptance by the Texas Department of Transportation. Should you have any comments in relation to the report, please contact us.
