Unified Transportation Program

The Texas Transportation Commission and TxDOT use the Unified Transportation Program (UTP) as a 10-year plan to guide transportation project development and construction. The UTP is divided into two documents:

• 2007 Statewide Mobility Program (SMP) [pdf, 310 pages, 1.64mb]
  
  Note: The 2007 SMP was approved by commission minute order 110753 at the regularly scheduled meeting on November 16, 2006.
   
• 2007 Statewide Preservation Program (SPP) [pdf, 386 pages, 3mb]
  
  Note: The 2007 SPP was approved by commission minute order 110479 at the regularly scheduled meeting on March 30, 2006.

The annual public hearing about the project selection process was held in Austin on Dec. 13, 2007.
