SmartWay Transport is a voluntary
partnership between various freight industry sectors and the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency. It establishes incentives for fuel efficiency improvements
and greenhouse gas emissions reductions. In the spring of 2004, we became the
nation's first state transportation agency to join this important initiative.
