TxDOT will host the 2008 Environmental Coordinators' Conference Sept. 30 –
Oct. 2, 2008, at the
Doubletree Hotel, I-35 and U.S. 290 in Austin.
Registration is free to all participants.

Agenda
The agenda will include:
- Day 1 on Tuesday, Sept. 30, is a general session for TxDOT and FHWA
staff only

Day 2
on Wednesday, Oct. 1, is a full day. It is a general open session for all attendees.

Day 3
on Thursday, Oct. 2, is a full day. It will include four sessions of up to six
concurrent breakouts open to all attendees.

Classes
Four new classes have been added to the agenda for Day 4 of the
conference, Friday, October 3.
A list
of the new classes and instructions on how to sign up are now available.
Hotel Rates
Two separate room blocks are set up at the
DoubleTree Hotel, one for state
and federal employees at the state room rate of $85 per night and a second rate
of $120 per night for all others.
After this block of rooms is gone, the rate
increases to the prevailing rates ($189 and up). You are strongly encouraged to
make your hotel reservations soon.

before Sept. 1.

hotel to make your own room arrangements separately from conference

State and Federal Employees
For government staff, the group name for
hotel room reservations
is “Environmental Coordinators State Rate Only Rooms” and the group code to make
reservations online is “EVC.”
Private Sector Attendees
For non-government staff attendees, the group name for
hotel room
reservations is “Environmental Coordinators Conference” and the group code
to make reservations online is “EVS."
