Public Hearing - IH 10 Detention Ponds (Taylor St. and Washington Ave.)

Where:	Reagan High School 413 E 13th St. Houston, TX	When:	Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010 6 p.m.
Purpose:	A public hearing to discuss proposed detention ponds for Interstate (I) 10 between Taylor Street and Washington Avenue. Preliminary engineering studies, environmental studies and recommended sites will be presented for public input.
Description:	Improvements would consist of: Construction of two detention ponds and reduction of embankments in the White Oak Bayou floodway Removal of railroad bridge which crosses White Oak Bayou, upstream from Yale This project would replace the volume of water currently contained by the below grade section of I-10 west of White Oak Bayou
