Public Hearing - FM 524

Where:	Sweeny High School 1310 North Elm St. Sweeny, TX 77480.	When:	Thursday, May 6, 2010 6 p.m. - Open House 7 p.m. - Formal Presentation
Purpose:	A public hearing regarding the proposed realignment of Farm-to-Market Road (FM) 524, from just south of the intersection with County Road (CR) 359 and ending at State Highway (SH) 35. The environmental assessment, project exhibits, maps, and design drawings will be available for review during the open house.
Description:	Improvements would consist of: Two 12-foot travel lanes with 8-foot shoulders and roadside ditches Realignment of the existing FM 524 around the Conoco Phillips Refinery Approximately 37 acres of additional ROW would be required No displacements will be necessary
