US 82 Corridor - Bowie County
The Atlanta District is preparing plans to widen the existing 2-lane highway to 4-lane divided highway to improve mobility and safety on this Texas Trunk System, National Highway System, and Texas Freight Corridor. The purpose of these projects is to improve safety, mobility, regional connectivity, and address roadway deficiencies. The proposed improvements are needed to accommodate future traffic volumes and establish consistency along the US 82 corridor.
These corridor improvements have been divided into the following projects for funding considerations:
