Purpose

TxDOT is conducting a feasibility study to identify and evaluate potential improvements to US 77 in Fayette County to address safety concerns related to truck traffic along the corridor. Goals of the feasibility study include reducing truck-related crashes and improving mobility for local and through traffic. This study focuses on the segment of the roadway that passes through the City of La Grange.

Description US 77 serves as a freight corridor within the Texas Highway Freight Network connecting people and goods locally and throughout Texas. The purpose of the study is to identify and evaluate potential improvements to US 77 to address safety along the corridor.
Accessibility

The in-person open house will be conducted in English. Project materials will be available in English and Spanish for both meeting formats. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs.
