Notice of finding no significant impact (FONSI) and final environmental assessment

Purpose TxDOT has issued a finding of no significant impact (FONSI) for the proposed FM 2220 (Ware Road), and that the FONSI is available for public review.
Description

The proposed project would widen and reconstruct FM 2220 (Ware Road) from FM 1925 to Mile 5 Road in Hidalgo County, Texas.

The FONSI and approved final environmental assessment (EA) are on file and available for inspection Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Pharr District Office, 600 W. Interstate 2, Pharr, Texas 78577 at 956-702-6100. It is also available below.

Memorandum of Understanding The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 9, 2019, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
