Open House - I-69 Connector Corridor Feasibility Study

We are providing two in-person opportunities to participate. The first meeting will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019, at J. Economedes High School and the second Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019, at the Santa Rosa Elmentary School. The two meetings will be identical in nature.

Purpose:
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Pharr District will host an Open House for the I-69 Connector Corridor Feasibility Study. TxDOT is studying a new potential connection from I-69C/US 281 to I-69E/US 77. The study area includes portions of Hidalgo, Cameron and Willacy Counties.
The purpose of the meeting is to introduce the I-69 Connector Corridor Feasibility Study to the public, help TxDOT develop the project goals and objectives, discuss constraints and gather input, and learn about the public concerns/issues. Comments must be received on or before Thursday, January 2, 2020 to be a part of the official record.
Description:
The public is invited to view the project maps, video presentation, visit with TxDOT staff, ask questions and share comments. No formal presention will be given.

Memorandum of Understanding:
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
