Purpose:
TxDOT will host a public meeting to present the proposed operational improvements on the I-2 and I-69C Interchange located in Hidalgo County, Texas. The proposed project limits on I-2 are from 2nd Street in McAllen to FM 2557 (Stewart Rd) in San Juan and on I-69C from Nolana Loop to I-2 in Pharr.
Description:
The proposed direct connectors will include:
- Two 12 foot wide travel lanes with 4 foot wide inside shoulders
- 10 foot wide outside shoulders
In addition, the locations of the on and off ramps and the auxiliary lanes between ramps will be optimized.

Please be aware that advance notice is requested as some accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.
The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and TxDOT.
Comments must be received or postmarked by June 29, 2018 to be a part of the official public meeting record.
