The public meeting will be conducted in an open house format. Public meeting attendees will be able to view the same presentation delivered in the online virtual meeting which will be playing on a screen, review project materials, ask questions of TxDOT staff and/or consultants, and leave written comments.

The virtual meeting will consist of a pre-recorded video presentation and will include both audio and visual components.

The virtual meeting presentation will be posted on this webpage by Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. The materials can be viewed at your convenience.

If you do not have internet access, you may call 903-453-3107 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, to ask questions and access project materials during the project development process.

The proposed project involves the reconstruction of the existing two-lane rural roadway to a four-lane roadway with curb and gutter and a two-way left turn lane. A continuous 8-foot-wide shared-use path would be constructed on both sides of the roadway. Portions of the roadway are within the city limits of Greenville. The existing FM 1570 right-of-way (ROW) ranges from 100-feet to120-feet throughout the length of the project. The proposed ROW width ranges from 100-feet to 125-feet.

The proposed project would, subject to final design consideration, require approximately 6.8 acres of additional right-of-way and approximately 1.6 acres of additional permanent drainage easements. No residential or non-residential structures are anticipated to be displaced at this time. Information concerning services and benefits available to affected property owners and information about thetentative schedule for ROW and drainage easement acquisition and construction can be obtained from the TxDOT Greenville Area Office by calling 903-453-3107 or online on this webpage.

Any environmental documentation or studies, maps and drawings showing the project location and design, tentative construction schedules, and other information regarding the proposed project are on file and available for inspection Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the TxDOT Greenville Area Office, located at 3001 I-30 East, Greenville Texas 75402, 903-453-3107. Project materials are also available on this webpage.

Project materials will also be available in hard copy form for review at the public meeting.
