Hachar-Reuthinger Road - Notice of availability of finding of no significant impact (FONSI)

Purpose This notice advises the public that the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has issued a finding of no significant impact (FONSI) for the proposed Hachar-Reuthinger Road project, and that the final Environmental Assessment (EA) is available for public review.
Description

The proposed project would construct a new location four-lane divided roadway from FM 1472 to I-35 West Frontage Road in Webb County, Texas.

The FONSI and approved final Environmental Assessment (EA) are on file and available for inspection Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at TxDOT Laredo District Office, 1817 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, TX 78043. It is also available online at the Notice of Availability of Final Environmental Assessment.

Please be aware that advance notice is required as some services and accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.

Memorandum of Understanding The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 9, 2019, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
