| Public meeting series schedule and details | The I-45 NHHIP has three segments, and there will be an in-person and a live virtual meeting for each segment. The information presented during the in-person and virtual segment meetings will be segment-specific. The Public Meeting Series schedule is as follows:
The same information presented in each segment’s virtual meeting will also be presented at each segment’s in-person meeting. If you do not have internet access, you may call 713-866-7040 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, to ask questions and access project materials during the project development process, by appointment only with TxDOT staff. Those without internet access are encouraged to attend in-person meetings. Feedback may also be provided by mail or email as explained below. |
| Description | TxDOT is engaging the public on the I-45 North Houston Highway Improvement Project (NHHIP). The project limits are I-45 from US 59/I-69 to Beltway 8 North, including improvements on US 59/I-69 between I-45 and Spur 527 in Harris County, Texas. |
| Purpose | TxDOT invites you to attend one of the in-person or virtual public meetings scheduled in early December 2023. These public meetings update the public on project progress and allow the public to provide feedback in an open house format. TxDOT will update the public on overall project status, design refinements, details regarding the Voluntary Resolution Agreement (VRA) and future construction schedule. Also, TxDOT will present proposed design changes related to the reevaluation for the Segment 3B project. Segment 3B limits are US 59/I-69 from State Highway (SH) 288 to I-45.
