Notice of availability of final environmental assessment

Purpose

This notice advises the public that TxDOT has issued a final environmental assessment (EA) for the proposed US 380 Farmersville Improvements project, and that the final EA is available for public review.

Description

The proposed project would consist of the new location realignment of US 380 from CR 560 to CR 699 (Hunt County Line) in Collin County, Texas. The approved final EA is on file and available for inspection Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at TxDOT Dallas District Office, 4777 E. U.S. Highway 80, Mesquite, TX 75150, or call (214) 320-6625.  It is also available online.

Pursuant to 23 CFR 771.119(h), TxDOT will issue a finding of no significant impact (FONSI) for this project no sooner than 30 days after the issuance of this notice of availability. 

Accessibility The EA is written in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. If you need interpretation or translation services or you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to review the EA, please contact Madison Schein, TxDOT Dallas District Public Information Officer at (214) 320-4483 no later than 4 p.m. CT, at least three business days before the date on which you would like to review the EA.  Please be aware that advance notice is required as some services and accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.

Memorandum of Understanding The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 9, 2019, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and TxDOT.
