Notice of availability of final environmental impact statement and record of decision (FEIS/ROD)

Purpose

This notice advises the public that the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has issued a combined final environmental impact statement and record of decision (FEIS/ROD) for the proposed Loop 9, Segment A, and that the combined FEIS/ROD is available for review.  

Description

The FEIS/ROD identifies the selected alternative and signifies the completion of the environmental review process. The selected alternative would construct a new location roadway as Loop 9, Segment A from US 67 south of Cedar Hill to IH 35E north of Red Oak in Dallas and Ellis Counties, Texas.

The FEIS/ROD is on file and available for inspection Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the TxDOT Dallas District Office at 4777 US-80, Mesquite, Texas 75150. It is also available online.
