| Purpose | TxDOT is proposing to reconstruct and widen FM 407 from Bill Cook Road to FM 1830 in Denton County, Texas. |
| Description | The project proposes to widen the existing two-lane rural, undivided roadway to a six-lane, urban divided facility for approximately 11.5 miles along FM 407 in Denton County, TX. The project would include pedestrian and bike accommodations. The existing right-of-way (ROW) varies from 80-feet to 90-feet. The proposed ROW varies along the corridor and is generally 140 feet wide. The proposed project would, subject to final design considerations, require additional ROW and potentially displace six residences. |
