Virtual Public Meeting - I-35 at SH 29

When:

Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020 through Friday, Oct. 2, 2020

Purpose:

The purpose of the virtual public meeting is to gather input on the proposed improvements on I-35 at SH 29 in Williamson County, as a part of the Mobility35 Program. All comments must be received on or before Oct. 2, 2020, to be a part of the official virtual public meeting record.

Description:

The proposed improvements include:

  • Construct a single-point urban interchange (SPUI) at I-35 and SH 29
  • Construct SH 29 intersection bypass lanes
  • Reconstruct entrance and exit ramps throughout the corridor
  • Extend entrance/exit lanes along the I-35 mainlanes between entrance and exit ramps
  • Improve bicycle and pedestrian paths

Special Accommodations:

The virtual public meeting will be conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. Memorandum of Understanding:

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 9, 2019, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
